Question: I have lots of ready made fondant icing in different colours left over. any xmas biscuit recipes?

My children want to make some Christmas biscuits. Which is the best way to get the icing to stick to the biscuits? You might have guessed, I am a bit of a novice cook!

If the icing isn't already sticking, try a bit of water (use a fine paintbrush to paint a little water on side of the icing. If that doesn't work make a paste from two tablespoons of icing sugar and about 1/ 4 teaspoon of water (you hardly need any water at all - a couple of drops will do!) and paint this on instead.
